The Committee

The Committee is a team of parents, elected by other parents, who volunteer  to help manage the running of our Pre-School. Each member of the committee brings their own skills, experience and energy to the table.  We are all parents like you and we would love you to join us! Contact us for more info!

A Little bit about Tim – Treasurer (Interim Chair)

I have been treasurer and trustee of several local charities over recent years including the Northampton Bach Choir, Christ the Cornerstone Church in Milton Keynes to name but a few. With a strong interest in choral singing, I am currently the treasurer and a trustee of the Newport Pagnell Singers and am a member of St.Peters and St.Pauls choir in Olney. I am a qualified Financial Adviser and a Director of a legal services firm in the day running my two practices in Milton Keynes. I am delighted to support the pre-school as it continues to go forward and look forward to using my skills to help and ensure we are here for the next 50 years.

A Little bit about Emma – Secretary

Emma has a background in Marketing and currently supports with the marketing and social media channels for our Pre-School. Her son attended Pre-School previously and it captured her heart so has stayed with us on the committee ever since.

Emma loves cooking, yoga and heading out for nice long walks in her spare time with the family.

A Little bit about Chloe – Committee Member and Fundraising Support

Chloe is mummy to Edward, who started preschool this year and is absolutely loving it, and baby Poppy. Before going on maternity leave, Chloe was deputy manager of another village preschool, and is keen to use her experience and qualifications within Early Years to help support the preschool and committee team.

Chloe loves baking and being outdoors exploring our Great British countryside.

A Little bit about Gaby – Committee Member and Fundraising Support

Gaby’s son joined Sherington preschool at the start of the year and he loves attending the sessions. Gaby works as a Primary School teacher locally and is passionate about engaging children in learning from a young age. Gaby’s strong knowledge of the primary curriculum works as an asset for supporting the transition to school.

In her spare time, Gaby enjoys walks in the wood, going out for breakfasts and holidays to the beach.
